We’ve stayed closer to home in 2026. In March we took our video camera on a Cornish pub crawl<\/a> in search of early spring flowers and good West Country beer and in May we took part in Levellers Day<\/a>, the annual commemoration by the Labour Party of the brutal suppression by Oliver Cromwell of troops demanding more equality for common people in the churchyard at Burford, in Oxfordshire, in 1649. Chuck resumes his neglected blog by recalling his military service in War Stories<\/a>. And Judith continues to fill up Sketchbooks<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
